Local rules and grants
- In Uccle, turning a front setback zone into parking has been banned by the regional planning regulation since 2007, and the municipality refuses such applications unless there is a justified exception.
- Uccle has its own planning regulation on water management (in force since November 2016): every permit application must provide for rainwater management on the plot.
- The municipal regulation of September 2024 subsidises rainwater infiltration systems at 75% of the cost, up to €500 (whether this continues in 2026 is to be confirmed with the municipality).
- Part of southern Uccle (Kauwberg, Fond Roy, Engeland, Sauvagère) is a Natura 2000 area, along with the edges of the Sonian Forest.
