Garden landscaping, from groundwork to planting
A garden is built in order: soil, levels and water first, hard surfaces next, greenery last. We coordinate everything, from the first spadeful to the lawn.
Groundwork and levelling
Digging out, removing soil and rubble, setting levels and slopes. It is the most important and least visible stage: it decides where the water goes and whether the surfaces will move.
Hard surfaces
Terrace, driveway, paths, edging and low walls: we design them together so they work with each other, then lay each one on a foundation suited to it.
Greenery
Turf or seeded lawn, hedges, trees, flower beds. We can also fell trees, remove stumps and take away whatever needs to go.
One point of contact
Rather than three firms passing the buck, one team follows the job from the groundwork to the last plant.
6% or 21% VAT
Garden landscaping is normally invoiced at 21%. A terrace attached to the house or the driveway from the street to the house can go at 6%. The quote separates the two so you pay the right rate.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a complete garden makeover cost?
It depends mostly on the groundwork and the hard surfaces. The simplest way is to estimate the surfaces with the simulator, then ask for a visit for the rest.
When should we start?
Heavy work runs from spring to autumn, outside periods of frost and waterlogged ground. For a spring job, it is best to ask for a quote in winter.
